Alamo, the Land of Two Summers, warmly welcomes Winter Texans, as it has done for the past eighty years. Winter Texans stay in RVs, park models, brick homes, and hotels. Family and friends come to visit. They shop, dine out, take tours, bird watch, and volunteer their time. Winter Texans bring talent, time and resources to Alamo and participate actively in the community, providing a foundation for the growth of Alamo. We love our Winter Texans. Alamo Chamber offers welcome packets to arriving Winter Texans and hosts a free appreciation event every February.
